Pronunciation mazes are a great way of raising awareness of various features of English pronunciation. They can be used to help students practise discriminating between easily confused phonemes, or for segmental features of various phoneme groups, such as sound length or voicing. They can also be used to focus on features such as word stress or to get students thinking about rules for inflected word endings.
In this pack you receive:
- A page of instructions and ideas for using mazes in classes
- An editable template for you to create your own
- 3 example mazes covering plural endings, short and long vowels and word stress
If you are interested in exploring why pronunciation is important, our Teaching Pronunciation blog is here to help too.
You will receive an email with a folder of PDF and Word documents that you can download and print.
